Daddy there’s a big fat guy..

That’s what I heard at the grocery store yesterday. It doesn’t bother me that the kid said as he was only 5 or 6 and  doesn’t know any better. It does bother me however that the father didn’t correct him. By not correcting it, Dad is  allowing the seed of intolerance to sprout. Next time it might be someone in a wheel chair or a different color skin that the kid is commenting about. If the parents don’t correct it how is the kid supposed to know any better?
