There's a big difference between saying Yeah me too, I agree, blah blah blah and contributing something useful. Useful contributors are always welcome to have a link on any of my sites. There are a few sites where I have signature links back to my forums. I never create "I agree" or "Yeah, what he said posts", but I will make a positive contribution to the forums in the form of new threads and replies. Yes, the goal is to create links to myself, and the secondary benefit that in time some of the members may view me as a good resource and want to check out the forums in my signature.
