I got back home to New York yesterday, a few days earlier than scheduled. I decided to change my ticket to get home earlier.
Over all the train ride was uneventful. When I got off at Penn Station, I took the wrong exit and wound up having to walk a few blocks to the path train. I enjoyed the trek through midtown although it would’ve been a lot nicer without luggage.
I got to spend a couple of hours in Hoboken terminal, hanging out. I wound up walking around a bit, I bought a pair of sunglasses off of one of the vendors and bought mom a boquet of flowers they just caught my eye they’ve got really vivid colors, pink and blue; Mom liked them.
I finally got a slice of decent pizza too! Then I sat at the bar for a bit and had a couple of drinks, after 24 hours on a train I needed it.
You know I never thought I’d say this but I actually missed my little hometown here. The weather has been beautiful. At least you can walk around without soaking in sweat as I did in Florida.
Today I went to the doctor and got an unnaboot put on my leg again, it will probably be about 6 weeks before the ulcer is healed again.
Last night when I got home, even though I was dead tired I could not resist setting up my desktop computer that 22″ screen still amazes me! I also changed around my computer desk a little bit so I have my desktop and laptop on the same desk this way I can use them both at the same time. I’m looking for switch so I can use my desktop’s mouse and keyboard for the laptop and switch in between.
Starting next Monday I’m going to get back on a diet, again but stick with it this time.
I want to quit smoking ASAP, hopefully I’ll do that Monday too.
Now that I’m home I’ll be posting more often. Also, look forward to a couple of new websites by yours truely.

Hey, glad to see that your sanity has returned and UR in NY again. If it aint the humidity….its the alligators!
Only old folks can successfully move to FL, they have $$$ and can leverage the offshore immigrant economy to their advantage.
